Historical record
Brainhack
in Geneva.
Past events connected people working with brain imaging, code and research questions. These notes describe that history; they are not a current event programme.
Earlier Geneva events
The Open Geneva project page concerns the earlier 2019 gathering. The November 2019 event record describes a separate workshop at Campus Biotech.
The 2022 gathering
EPFL’s event listing records a Brainhack gathering at Geneva Campus Biotech from 1–3 December 2022. It described a collaborative format, with participants contributing to different projects rather than competing for a single prize.
The announcement welcomed people from coding and clinical backgrounds and included both participation and project-proposal routes. Those arrangements applied to that event. Registration, credits and practical details in the old announcement should not be treated as current offers.
Projects as a meeting point
The event’s project format brought together people with different skills around a limited task. For a reader interested in that style of work today, a useful starting point is a clear project question, a defined contribution and a handover another person can understand.
Programmes and people
Speaker, team and contact references in earlier event links belong to their historical context. This publication does not maintain a current speaker roster or represent the former organisers. Consult the dated institutional record for the description of an individual event.
